From liner to cutting edge
- 01
Choosing model and material
The available models and handle materials are presented: fine woods, acrylics, Corian. You choose the piece you are going to build.
- 02
Preparing the parts
Discovering the components of a folding knife and what each one does. Fitting the scales and preparing the handle.
- 03
Assembly and tuning
Guided assembly, then tuning the mechanism. This is where the knife starts to answer properly to the hand.
- 04
Finishing
Sanding, shaping and polishing the handle. Finishing is what separates an assembled knife from a finished one.

Your folder, and its sheath
- The knife you built
- Your choice of model: a regional pattern or a Barracuda 10 cm. A wide choice of woods for the handle: olive, ebony, walnut, boxwood, ash…
- A leather sheath, included
- Discovering the workshop and its machines
- How a folding knife works and what the machines do, explained over the course of the day.
- Looking after your knife
- Sharpening, handle care, adjustment: what it takes to make the knife last.

Arranging your session
Workshops take place at the workshop in Tournefeuille, near Toulouse, over one day and one to one: a single person at the bench, guided from start to finish. They can be arranged on request, on a weekday or at the weekend. Dates and prices are given on request, depending on the model chosen and your availability.
